The fight is on over "health care". But it's not really health care they're fighting about, folks! It's medical care. Health care is FREE. Good diet. Exercise. Plenty of rest. No risky behavior. Apple a day. It's all free. With luck you'll have good health.
Of course you might have bad luck. Bad genes. Can't be a hermit - catch bad bugs. Might get sick.
This is where "medical care" comes in. When your sick -- fix you. Or try to figure out if you're really sick, and maybe don't even know it. Or maybe just modify you a bit -- change your shape or something.
Medical care isn't free! To give you medical care someone has to spend on you his precious time that ticks away forever every second. Time that he could be using for something else that he likes to do. And he's got to miss a lot of fun times when he's young cracking the books to learn all the stuff he needs to figure out how to help you.
And all those big machines that you go inside of to figure out what's wrong, and all those pills and shots. Somebody has to figure out how to make them so they do their job and don't do you any harm. Somebody has to learn how to run them or dispense them and be there when you need them.
None of these people are going to do any of these things for you unless you give them something back, like something that takes up a little piece of your precious ticking away time that you would just as well be happy to use for something you'd rather be doing.
